Our story
Real food, made the way Geeta's mother taught her.
From a single Mumbai recipe to a kitchen feeding hundreds of Canadians a day, our story is about staying true to the food we grew up loving.
It started with one vadapav.
Years ago, Geeta would invite friends over for tea — and somehow, no matter what was on the menu, the conversation always came back to her vadapav. A spiced potato fritter, sandwiched between a soft pav, with a sweet chutney on one side and a fiery one on the other. Simple. Cheap. Unforgettable.
When she moved to Canada, she missed the snack stalls of Mumbai every single day. So she started cooking them at home — first for family, then for the neighbourhood, then for the city. What you eat with us today is the same recipe that's been in her family for three generations.
No shortcuts. Ever.
Every chutney is ground in-house. Every pav is steamed fresh, twice daily. Our chai is made with the same spice blend Geeta watched her grandmother grind by hand. We don't use frozen onions, pre-mixed pastes, or imitation anything — because if it doesn't taste right to us, it doesn't go on your plate.
Vegetarian, by design.
Indian street food is plant-forward by nature, and so are we. Our entire menu is 100% vegetarian, with clearly-labelled vegan and Jain options. You won't find an "okay for vegetarians" disclaimer anywhere — because every dish is built around vegetables, lentils, and grains from the start.
